Statesboro Police Arrests
    * Nicole Ashley Kaufman, 22, Stambuck Lane – marijuana possession.
    * Brian Mark Black, 21, Pineway Drive, West Palm Beach, Fla. – marijuana possession.
    * Stanley Saxon, 44, Grady Street – wanted person.

Bulloch Sheriff’s Arrests
    * Van Jerry Brunson, 47, Teal Circle – probation violation.
    * John Daniel Greenway, 61, Main Street — child support lockup (failure to pay child support.)
    * Jarrell Wallace Lariscy, 21, Settlement Road – felony theft by receiving stolen property, second degree criminal damage to property, falsification or removal of identification number.
    * Christopher Steven Harvey, 25, Hwy. 280, Pembroke – marijuana possession, driving with a suspended license, improper backing.
    * Shaun Christopher Lee, 33, Leroy Field Road, Pembroke – criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine, obstruction.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    * DUI arrests – none.
    * Seatbelt citations – none.
    * Child restraint citations – none.
    * Speeding citations – none.
    * Total citations – one.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    * Officers issued seven traffic citations Wednesday.      

Statesboro Police Incidents
    * UNIVERSITY PINES APARMENTS – A man said three or four men attempted to rob him Thursday morning around 2:50 a.m. One held his hand in his jacket as if he held a gun while the others struck him, When the victim began yelling the men fled without taking anything, he said.
    * THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS – Officers responding to a drug complaint smelled burning marijuana. A search of the house revealed a small amount of pot and two were arrested.
    * NORTH COLLEGE STREET – Someone used red spray paint to write obscene graffiti on a door.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff’s Incidents
    * GA. 67 — (Statesboro) A woman reported receiving harassing messages via MySpace.
    * BEN GRADY COLLINS ROAD – (Portal) A man reported the theft of a.22 revolver.
    * MILLER STREET EXTENSION – (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute.
    * CROSSWAY COTTAGES – (Statesboro) A man and woman argued over who would keep their child when the woman left the man.
    * MARTIN ROAD – Deputies investigated a complaint that adults allowed a juvenile access to alcoholic beverages while they watched a ball game, and the juvenile tripped and fell into a fire.

    * Crashes investigated – two.
    * Fatalities reported – none.
    * Total vehicle stops – one.
    * Seatbelt warnings – none.
    * Child restraint warnings – none.
    * Speeding warnings – none.
    * Total warnings issued – one.
    * Wanted persons apprehended – none.
    * Stolen vehicles recovered – none.
    * Road checks performed – one.

Georgia Southern University Incidents
    * Officers issued three traffic warnings, assisted three motorists, assisted one injured person, responded to a drug complaint at Centennial Place and investigated two accidents Wednesday.
    * HENDERSON LIBRARY – Someone said $60.00 was taken from a wallet.
    * CENTENNIAL PLACE APARTMENTS — A debit card and driver’s license were reported stolen. In a separate incident someone reported the theft of a chair.
    * SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS – Someone reported the theft of a debit card, GSU ID and cash.
    * MAIL CENTER – Someone reported a violin stolen.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    * Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department — 14 calls.
    * Statesboro Police Department — 17 calls.
    * University Police Department – no calls.
    * Georgia State Patrol – three calls.
    * Candler County Sheriff’s Department – eight calls.
    * Evans County Sheriff’s Department – one call.
     * Claxton Police Department – no calls.
    * Brooklet Police Department –  one call.
    * Portal Police Department –  one call.
   
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    * Statesboro Fire Department – two calls.
    * Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — five calls.
      
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    * Bulloch County EMS – two accident calls, a fire call and 10 medical calls.
    * Candler County EMS – nine medical calls.
    * Evans County EMS – four medical calls.
    * Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday:  a call to Air Transport; two calls to Bulloch County Correctional Institute; four calls to Bulloch County First Responders and a call to an undisclosed recipient.
