Nov. 27 -- William Sherman Girardeau, 31, Lane’s Church Rd – felony theft by receiving stolen proper

Statesboro Police Arrests
    * Due to holidays, arrests Wednesday through Sunday will be published Tuesday.

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    * William Sherman Girardeau, 31, Lane’s Church Road – felony theft by receiving stolen property.
    * Due to holidays, arrests Thursday through Sunday will be published Tuesday.

Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    * Due to holidays, arrests Wednesday through Sunday will be published Tuesday.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    * Due to holidays, arrests Wednesday through Sunday will be published Tuesday.
      
Statesboro Police Incidents
    * Due to holidays, incidents Wednesday through Sunday will be published Tuesday.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    * AJ RIGGS ROAD – (Statesboro) A man stole a hand-held camcorder, and was caught when an alarm sounded as he left Wal-Mart Distribution.
    * MILLER STREET EXTENSION – A woman reported the theft of pecans after she found a man picking them up on her property.
    * POJO’S GAS & GO – (Register) A man tried using what a cashier said was a counterfeit $100 bill, but Savannah Secret Service agents confirmed the bill was real.
    * COWBOY WAY – (Portal) An intoxicated man tried starting a fight, and was arrested. A complainant also said a woman who lived nearby also started an argument and she was served with criminal trespass.
    * BRANNEN DRIVE – (Statesboro) Someone stole an iPod, FM transmitter, headphones, training shoes and a bag from a car.
    * EAGLE TRACE MOBILE HOME PARK – (Register) An assortment of CDs, GSP maps, clothing, and a jacket were stolen from a car.
    * U.S. 301 SOUTH – (Statesboro) Someone stole a purse and CD player from a vehicle.
    * NATURE WAY – (Statesboro) A purse, GPS unit and iPod were stolen from a vehicle.
    * BRANNEN DRIVE – (Statesboro) A Westbrooke Condos resident reported the theft of a .40 caliber handgun from a vehicle. Another resident reported someone stole a marlin .270 and Marlin 30-30 rifle from a car.
    * LANE’S CHURCH ROAD – (Brooklet) A man said power tools were stolen from his home.
    * W. RUSHING ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported his father’s girlfriend was intoxicated and causing a problem. His father left the home because her actions prevented him from sleeping, so she turned her anger towards the son, grabbing him by the neck, he said. There were visible injuries that were photographed. Deputies arrested the woman.
    * STUBBS RECYCLING – (Statesboro) A man said he saw six different people trespassing on the metal yard.
    * CHURCH STREET – (Register) Someone stole an air conditioner unit and wooden poles.
    * BLACKBIRD DRIVE – (Statesboro) A man and woman argued over whether either of them should have been at the residence where they argued. The homeowners were gone; the man was a brother of one homeowner and the woman was the girlfriend of the resident owner’s niece.
    * COLFAX ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a fuel tank and cultivator.
    * EPHESUS CHURCH ROAD – (Statesboro) A man began cursing at others while they were all watching TV, and someone called law enforcement.
    * LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman said someone stole hair appliances and accessories from her car.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    * Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 12 calls.
    * Statesboro Police Department — 19 calls.
    * University Police Department – no calls.
    * Georgia State Patrol – seven  calls.
    * Candler County Sheriff's Department – 14 calls.
    * Evans County Sheriff's Department – two calls.
    * Claxton Police Department – one call.
    
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    * Statesboro Fire Department – four calls.
    * Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — five calls.
    * Claxton Fire Department — one call.
     
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    * Bulloch County EMS – one accident call, two fire calls and 12 medical calls.
    * Candler County EMS – seven medical calls.
    * Evans County EMS – two medical calls.
    * Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday: three calls to Emanuel County 911; four calls to Bulloch County First Responder, a call to the Bulloch county coroner, a call to Bryan County 911, a call to Georgia Forestry and a call to the Candler County coroner.
