Williams-Miseje

Mr. and Mrs. David Miseje

Laine Marie Williams and David Miseje of Hilton Head, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 7:00 in the evening on the lawn of The Belle House in Statesboro. The Reverend Bill Perry of Statesboro officiated.
The music was provided by Crystal Twibell, harp; John Carl Twibell, violin; and Brittany Davis, soloist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Williams of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Marsh of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Williams of Register.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jozef Miseje of Bosany, Slovakia. He is the grandson of Anna Miseje and the late Jozef Miseje of Bosany, Slovakia, and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Michalik of Bosany, Slovakia.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory wedding gown made entirely of silk spun taffeta. The sweetheart neckline included a fitted bodice with horizontal ruched pleats, an extreme drop waist, mermaid style, with a full trumpet flare at the hemline. The cathedral-length veil adorned the gown while flowing at the back with delicate beaded edging throughout. Laine carried her grandmother's, Louise Marsh, embroidered handkerchief in her bouquet.
Gena Kennedy Manning of Statesboro served as Laine's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Elko of Register, Rebecca Hall Blumenthal of Augusta, Caroline Nardone Mahceha, Emily Renfroe and Kelly Smith, all of Hilton Head, S.C., Lindsey Youngblood of Atlanta, Lori Powell Nurmi of Camilla, Ga., and Candice Tillman Rogers of Metter, Ga. Honorary bridesmaids were Lindsey Baker of Augusta, Ga., Jennifer Dasher Jones, Raegan Smith and Alex Williams, cousin of the bride, all of Atlanta; and Melissa Morris of Statesboro.
The bridesmaids wore cornflower blue silk-satin chiffon knee-length strapless dresses with empire waists and ruched surplice bodices. They carried smaller bouquets identical to the bride's.
Bella Mahceha of Hilton Head served as flower girl and Henly Marsh of Dublin, Ga., cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer. Emery June Marsh of Dublin and Adison Marsh of Statesboro, cousins of the bride, gave out programs to guests.
Jozef Miseje served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were James Marsh of Greenville, N.C., and Brad Williams of Atlanta, cousins of the bride; Bo Staley and Diego Mahceha of Hilton Head, S.C.
After the "Breaking of the Plate" ceremony, a Slovakian wedding tradition, the reception was held in The Belle House ballroom. Those assisting in the ceremony and reception were Margaret Hicks, director; Pam Smith and Susan Olliff, greeters; and Libby Williams, Nella Williams and Sunni Williams, who kept the bride's guestbook. Kay Rule, Krista Marsh, Jennifer Kennedy and Lori Pidick assisted with cutting the cakes.
The couple is residing in Hilton Head, S.C.
