Jaclyn Pittman Jerry Lanier

    Mr. and Mrs. Wes Pittman of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Biebel of Panama City, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Pittman, to Jerry Lanier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lanier of Brooklet, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Usina Markham and the late Joe Markham of Lake City, Fla., and the paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pittman of Titusville, Fla. Jaclyn graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. In 2007, Jaclyn graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a doctorate in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Jaclyn is employed by PreVisor in Atlanta, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Mrs. June Brown and the late Gerald Brown of Stilson, Ga., and the paternal grandson of Mrs. Rae Lanier and the late James Lanier of Brooklet, Ga. Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Georgia Southern University, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Jerry is employed by Wyndam Roofing in Atlanta, Georgia.
    The couple will wed on November 6, 2010, in Panama City Beach, Fla.
