    ▲ Cavion Pierre Harris, 23, Bulloch Street - obstruction of an officer.
    ▲ Brett Alexander Thomas, 37, Chandler –  DUI (refusal).
     
➤ Statesboro Police Incidents
    ▲ BLAND AVENUE – A man said he was attacked by three men with wooden slats. The three suspects told police the other man started the fight. No arrests were made, but officers advised all of the warrant procedures.
    ▲ THE GRILL – A woman said someone stole her purse. It was found with contents scattered in the men’s room, minus a phone, keys and driver’s license.
    ▲ BUDGET INN – Someone found an industrial SCBA unit, yellow tank with black case and yellow mask.
    ▲ In a separate incident a man said another man struck him several times in the face after he asked him to stay away from his car. The other man said the complainant was aggressive towards him.
    ▲ GARDEN DISTRICT – someone broke a car window and stole a cell phone.
    ▲ MORRIS HEIGHTS – A woman sitting drunk outside the apartments was taken to jail after officers found out she had outstanding warrants.
    ▲ CHURCH STREET – A woman reported the theft of $4,700.
   
➤ Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
    ▲ Incidents occurring since Thursday will be published Wednesday.
     
➤ Georgia Southern University Incidents
    ▲ FRIDAY – Officers issued three warnings, worked one accident, and assisted seven motorists.
    ▲ CARROL BUILDING -– An employee reported someone damaged a satellite dish. 
    ▲ KENNEDY HALL – A student reported medication missing from their room.
    ▲ BIOLOGY BUILDING – EMS was called to the location to treat a sick person.
    ▲ SATURDAY – Officers issued two warnings, worked one accident, and assisted one motorist.
    ▲ HANNER FIELDHOUSE – Officers on routine patrol noticed a suspicious person acting strangely. He refused to stop for questioning and fled from the officers.  He was apprehended after a chase where he turned in front of a patrol car in pursuit and was knocked from his bicycle. The man was charged with obstruction.
    ▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE – Officers responded to assist with an intoxicated female.  The student was referred to Judicial Affairs.
    ▲ Also, a resident of Centennial Place reported a Simple Battery.  He did not wish to file charges.  The incident was referred to Judicial Affairs.
    ▲ RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER - EMS was called to assist an injured person. 
    ▲ Also, a student reported their book bag and wallet missing from the RAC.
    ▲ SUNDAY – Officers issued three warnings, issued 11 parking citations, and assisted 3 motorists.
    ▲ University Villas – Officers and the Statesboro Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire where a student was cooking and a small plastic bowl caught fire after it was placed on the hot stove.  The sprinkler system was activated and extinguished the small fire.  No one was injured.
    ▲ BRANNEN HALL – Officers responded to a sick person
