August 29 - JO DAN ROAD – (Register) A man reported a .357 Magnum Taurus revolver missing

Statesboro Police Incidents
ELLIS APARMENTS – EMS responded to treat a woman for injuries sustained when she broke a window to her own apartment to get inside – because she lost her keys. The woman had been drinking, she said.
UNIVERSITY VILLAGE – A woman said her boyfriend pushed her and made her fall during an argument over money issues.
MORIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS – Two women were arrested for fighting (affray).
MIKE-ANN DRIVE – A man police saw leave the roadway and strike a fire hydrant was charged with DUI.
WAFFLE HOUSE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST – A man and woman who left without paying for food were located and arrested.
NORTH MAIN STREET – Someone fund a Statesboro Herald newspaper vending machine behind the Zip-N Foods store.
Incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.
 
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD – (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a rotary mower and single hopper seeder.
PRETORIA RUSHING ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of a fan, air conditioner, all the food from her pantry and TV during a burglary.
POPE ROAD – (Ellabell) A man said someone stole a four wheeler and trolling motor.
JO DAN ROAD – (Register) A man reported a .357 Magnum Taurus revolver missing from his truck.
REDDICK ROAD – Someone pulled a stop sign out of the ground.
STEPHENS-LITTLE ROAD – (Register) Two men reported someone stole change and collectible coins from their home.
KELY ROAD – (Clito) A woman said someone entered her car and took gift cards, debit cards and identification, as well as $300.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Aug. 16-22.
Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas - 14 dogs and two cats.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – a dog and a cat.
Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Portal city limits – four dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens - six dogs and four cats.
    Number of animals in surrendered litters - 13 puppies and 23 kittens.
Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions – four dogs.
    Returned to owners- three dogs.
    Died at shelter – two dogs.
    Euthanized from isolation – 33 dogs and 22 cats.
    Officer activity:
    Snake complaints - one.
    Court summons/citations - none.
    Warnings issued - seven.
Money collected:
    Adoption fees - $ 175.
    Surrender fees - $10.
    Returned animal fines  - $75.
