July 14 - Statesboro Police Arrests Sean N. Pittman, 23, Jet Drive – theft by shoplifting

    ▲ Troopers issued four traffic violation citations Monday.

    ▲ Adrienne Lachelle Trowel, 40, U.S. 301 -  driving with suspended license and safety restraint violation.
    ▲ Sean C. MacDonald, 19, Robin Hood Trail - underage possession/consumption of alcohol and possession of a false I.D.
      
➤ Statesboro Police Incidents
    ▲ KMART – A woman shoplifted several clothing items.
    ▲ JUNIPER WAY – A woman said her husband grabbed her and threw her to the ground. When officers arrived he locked himself in the house. When they forced their way into the house, the man fled, causing an officer to fall down a flight of stairs. Police caught him and placed him under arrest.
    ▲ WAL-MART – A couple teens shoplifted video games, an Xbox, a Playstation and duct tape.
    ▲ MADISON MEADOWS – A woman said her boyfriend   hit her while she held her two-year-old, chipped her tooth and caused visible swelling.
    ▲ RETRIEVERS BAR AND GRILL – A patron struck and employee trying to remove her from the bar.
    ▲ CLEVE WHITE NISSAN – Someone broke into a customer’s car and took a stereo.
    ▲ GARDEN DISTRICT – Someone broke into a car and took CDs and an iPod cord.
    ▲ UNIVERSITY PINES – A man said someone removed items form a glove box in his car, but left them on the floor, taking nothing.
    ▲ COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS – A man caught his roommate leaving with sunglasses, bathroom items, an air mattress, lamp and DVDs that did not belong to him.
    ▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET – A woman reported another female – her estranged husband’s new girlfriend – wrote false and derogatory comments on Facebook.
    ▲ DUNLAP STREET – A man said another man entered his bedroom to talk to him, then hit him.
    ▲ GEORGIA AVENUE – A woman said her ex-boyfriend pushed her several times during an argument about her accusing him of infidelity.
    ▲ HOWARD LUMBER – A woman reported $250 stolen from her purse.
    ▲ LURUE LANE – A woman reported the theft of a $700 swimming pool – the largest Wal-Mart sells, she told officers – and a lawn mower.
   
➤ Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    ▲ BARTLETT DRIVE – A woman reported her mail box stolen.
    ▲ GA. 46 – (Ellabell) A woman called deputies when she hears someone outside her home. She saw someone run into the woods.
    ▲ WOODSHOLE CIRCLE – (Statesboro) A man failed to pay a deposit when he signed a lease, and when the realtor checked the home, a door had been damaged.
    ▲ TREVOR LANE – (Statesboro) A woman said a man pushed her during an argument about custody of their child.
    ▲ U.S. 301 NORTH – (Statesboro) An anonymous caller told sheriff’s dispatchers a woman was being beaten, then dragged into a car. When deputies stopped the car, they questioned the alleged victim, but the man driving got out and began arguing with deputies, wanting to know why he had been stopped. He cursed and refused to get back into the car, then acted as if he were urging a pit bull with them to attack. The woman had several abrasions but claimed she fell on rocks in the river.  After the man continued to argue, he was charged with obstruction and taken to jail.
    ▲ MILL CREEK ESTATES – (Statesboro) A woman said someone stole speakers and a stereo form her car.
    ▲ DAVIS ROAD – (Pembroke) A man said his ex-wife’s boyfriend questioned him about how he disciplines his children, and an argument ensued.
           
➤ Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    ▲ Troopers issued three warnings, assisted three motorists, and investigated three crashes with one injury Monday.
     
➤ Georgia Southern University Incidents
    ▲ Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted three motorists, assisted one sick person, responded to five alarms and investigated one accident Monday.
    ▲ HENDERSON LIBRARY – Someone reported a stolen bicycle.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:
    ▲ Bulloch County Sheriff's Department-   15 calls.
    ▲ Statesboro Police Department- 22  calls.
    ▲ University Police Department –   one call.
    ▲ Georgia State Patrol –  eight  calls.
    ▲ Candler County Sheriff's Department – three   calls.
    ▲ Evans County Sheriff's Department –    one call.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:
    ▲ Statesboro Fire Department – three calls.
    ▲ Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters – one  call.
    ▲ Metter Fire Department – two  calls.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:
    ▲ Bulloch County EMS – 13  medical calls.
    ▲ Candler County EMS – two  medical calls.
    ▲ Evans County EMS –  three medical calls.
    ▲ Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Monday:  a call to the Bulloch County Correctional Institute and two calls to Bulloch County First Responders.
