June 23 - Statesboro Police Arrests Jerry Lawayne Moffett, 44, U.S. 80 West, Portal – marijuana

    ▲ Jerry Lawayne Moffett, 44, U.S. 80 West, Portal – marijuana possession.
    ▲ Tiffany Nicole Wayne, 19, Lanier Drive – theft by shoplifting.
    ▲ Joe L. Holly III, 19, Camellia Drive – probation violation.
    ▲ Ryan Vincent Everett, 28, Marsham Drive – wanted person.
    ▲ Don Latodrick Jackson, 28, Shelby Street – cocaine possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.
    ▲ Tavahdric Jamahd Bryant, 27, Loretha Street – possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, cocaine possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.
    ▲ Pernell Latron Rich, 27, Rucker Lane - possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, cocaine possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession/use of a drug related object.

    ▲ Arrests made Tuesday and Wednesday will be published Friday.
   
➤ Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    ▲ Troopers issued 14 traffic violation citations Tuesday.
     
➤ Georgia Southern University Arrests
    ▲ Officers issued two traffic citations Tuesday.
          
➤ Statesboro Police Incidents
    ▲ FAIR ROAD APARTMENTS – A man reported the theft of a .45 pistol.
    ▲ HARVEY’S/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST – A witness said a blue Dodge truck pulling a trailer struck a shopping cart rack and damaged a handicap parking sign.
    ▲ GREENWOOD AVENUE – A man reported a suspicious vehicle near his home.
    ▲ WAL-MART – A juvenile was caught shoplifting sunglasses, toe rings and a CD. A woman shoplifted apples, mangoes, cherries, index cards, mouthwash and shaving cream. Both were arrested in separate incidents.
    ▲ WILBURN CIRCLE – A man reported a broken window.
    ▲ SPLASH IN THE BORO – A woman said someone stole a camera from her purse.
    ▲ STATESBORO CITY HALL – Someone stole four hubcaps from a city vehicle in the parking lot.
    ▲ MAX LOCKWOOD DRIVE – Someone set fire to the men’s bathroom, causing damage.
    ▲ KRYSTAL – A woman said someone took an iPod, camera, laptop bag and purse form her car.
    ▲ SOLOMON CIRCLE – A woman reported the theft of a stove and refrigerator.
    ▲ FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS – A man and woman fought, and due to visible injuries sustained by the woman, a man was arrested for battery and other charges.
    ▲ In a separate incident a woman said a man struck her in the face several times.
    ▲ NORTH EASY STREET – A man reported the theft of a Play Station PSP. Also, in a separate incident, a 7-year-old boy was bitten by a small dog and taken to the hospital.
    ▲ VARSITY APARTMENTS – An anonymous tip led officers to arrest three men on drug charges.
    ▲ HENRY STREET – a woman and her mother argued over the mother allegedly striking the daughter’s child in the face. The mother/grandmother said the child climbed on her wheelchair and fell.
    ▲ OGEECHEE LODGE – A handgun was stolen from a vehicle.
      
➤ Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    ▲ Incidents taking place Tuesday and Wednesday will be reported Friday.
           
➤ Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    ▲ Troopers issued 24 warnings, assisted one motorist ,conducted two road checks, and investigated four crashes Tuesday.
          
➤ Georgia Southern University Incidents
    ▲ Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted three motorists and assisted one injured person Tuesday.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    ▲ Bulloch County Sheriff's Department – 12 calls.
    ▲ Statesboro Police Department – 23  calls.
    ▲ University Police Department –   one call.
    ▲ Georgia State Patrol –   six calls.
    ▲ Candler County Sheriff's Department – six  calls.
    ▲ Evans County Sheriff's Department – four  calls.
    ▲ Claxton Police Department – one  call.
    ▲ Brooklet Police Department –  one  call.
    ▲ Portal Police Department – one call.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    ▲ Statesboro Fire Department –   one call.
    ▲ Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters – one  call.
    ▲ Metter Fire Department –  two calls.

    ▲ Hagan Fire Department –   one call
         
➤ 911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Tuesday:
    ▲ Bulloch County EMS – one accident call and 11 medical calls.
    ▲ Candler County EMS – one  medical call.
    ▲ Evans County EMS –  three medical calls.
    ▲ Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Tuesday:  one call to the Georgia Forestry Commission,  a call to Bulloch County First Responders, and two calls to Emanuel County 911.
