June 18 - Statesboro Police Arrests Jessica J. Walker, 21, Burkhalter Road – failure to obey stop

    ▲ Akore Deshard Lewis, 30, Chandler Road – following too closely, driving with a suspended license.
    ▲ Emory Dean Roberts, 64, U.S. 80 East – theft by shoplifting.
    ▲ Rachel Ellen Fitzgerald, 38, Durant Avenue, Savannah – failure to report an accident.
    ▲ Ira Junior Hendrix, 33, Rosas’ Lane – failure to obey stop sign, third offense driving with a suspended license, wanted person, obstruction.
    ▲ David Jemel Jenkins, 29, Meadow Loop, Nichols – driving with a suspended license, windshield violation.
    ▲ Courtenay Louise Davis, 27, Wagon Wheel Court – failure to maintain lane, DUI.
    Christopher Maurice Bowen Jr., 18, Franklin Road – marijuana possession.

    ▲ Officers issued five traffic citations Wednesday.
➤ Statesboro Police Incidents
    ▲ STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS – Someone took a CD player and wallet from a vehicle.
    ▲ In a separate incident, a woman reported being robbed at gunpoint while she was outside talking on the phone at 4 a.m. Thursday. An unknown man stuck a gun to her neck and fled after taking her cell phone, she said.
    ▲ STOCKYARD ROAD – Someone broke into a business and stole an air conditioner.
    ▲ BURGER KING – Someone damaged the pick order intercom with a large rock.
    ▲ COLLEGE PLAZA – Several  people reported automobile break-ins, reporting purses, a wallet and lap top computer stolen.
    ▲ THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A man reported an undisclosed item was stolen from his vehicle.
    ▲ PITTMAN PARK CHURCH – Someone stole a purse and phone from a car.
    ▲ SEASONS OF JAPAN – An employee reported his manager struck him during a disagreement.
    ▲ WAL-MART – A woman was caught concealing items in her purse and shoplifting them.
    ▲ NORTH MAIN STREET – A man reported another man threatened him and his lady friend.
    ▲ BOOKS BY DICKENS – A man reported someone broke into a storage trailer and stole furniture and books.
    ▲ RIDGEWOOD DRIVE – A woman said her ex-boyfriend threatened her, insulted her, dragged her off the bed by her ankle and caused a cut to her finger.
    ▲ KMART – A man shoplifted pens he had stuck in his shirt pocket, as well as items he concealed somehow in his cart; a cooler, folding chair, deodorant, water and cola.
    ▲ EL SOMBRERO/FAIR ROAD – A woman left the scene after striking a light pole and was subsequently arrested after witnesses called police.
    ▲ CAMPUS CROSSINGS – A man reported the theft of a Bianchi bicycle.
    ▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST/CAWANA ROAD – A man fell, struck his head and was transported to the hospital by EMS.
    ▲ LARRY’S GIANT SUBS – Someone damaged the drive-through window.
    ▲ WENDY’S – A man called police after his girlfriend sprayed him in the eyes with pepper spray during an argument over keys. 
➤ Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    ▲ OLD CARRIAGE TRAIL – (Statesboro) A man and woman argued over a debit card.
    ▲ TEAL CIRCLE – (Statesboro) A man and woman argued about a friend being in their yard. The man was drunk, loud and belligerent, scuffled with his sons, and deputies responding to the scene ordered him to go to bed.
    ▲ El CHEAPO – (Register) A man removed an X-rated DVD from a Hustler magazine packet, then left without paying for it.
    ▲ CHESTNUT OAK LANE – (Statesboro) A teen was arrested on disorderly conduct and criminal trespass charges.

    ▲ Officers assisted four motorists and responded to one alarm Wednesday.
    ▲ HOUSING FACILITIES – Someone reported a dispute.
    ▲ HOLLIS BUILDING - An attempted vehicle break-in was reported in the parking lot.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    ▲ Bulloch County Sheriff's Department- 13  calls.
    ▲ Statesboro Police Department- 16  calls.
    ▲ University Police Department – no  calls.
    ▲ Georgia State Patrol –   four calls.
    ▲ Candler County Sheriff's Department- five calls.
    ▲ Evans County Sheriff's Department –   no  calls.
    ▲ Claxton Police Department – no  calls.
    ▲ Brooklet Police Department –  one call.

    ▲ Bulloch County EMS – one accident call and nine  medical calls.
    ▲ Candler County EMS –  no medical calls.
    ▲ Evans County EMS –  one medical call.
