April 13 - Statesboro Police Arrests Gary Joshua Allen, 25, Skye Drive — failure to obey traffic

Statesboro Police Arrests
    Gary Joshua Allen, 25, Skye Drive — failure to obey traffic control device, driving with a suspended license.
    Dustin Shannon Smith, 20, Polk Road, Ellabell – possession of a false or altered identification card.
    Christina Lynn Durrence, 36, Broad Street – criminal trespass, marijuana possession.
    Amanda Person, 18, Lanier Drive – disorderly conduct.
    Sarah Nicole Bruno, 22, Harden Road – disorderly conduct.
    Leon Young, 30, Linhurst Street, Savannah – failure to appear.
    James Paul Brown Vessels, 21, Lanier Drive – noise ordinance violation, marijuana possession.
    Tameeka Lashaun Jackson, 29, Charlie Lane, Millen – probation violation.
    
Bulloch  Sheriff’s Arrests
    Marcus Dewayne Wiggins, 24, Brooke Stouerd  Road, Augusta – carrying a concealed weapon reckless conduct.
    Tyler Patrick Jacobs, 25, Highpoint Road – marijuana possession.
    Robert Wayne Whisenant, 43, Old River Road – battery.
    Robbie Wayne Whisenant, 22, Lee Street – criminal trespass.

    Troopers issued 36  traffic citations between Friday and Sunday.
    Michael  J. Timmers,  27, Wildwood Drive, Royalton, Ohio – DUI (.089).
    Matthew Scott  Beegle,  26, Kennedy Pond Road – DUI (refused test).
    Mathew James Chalkley,  17, Richards Street,  Swainsboro – DUI under 21 ( .017).
    Ben Jeremy  Schofield,  28, Old Savannah Road, Millen – DUI (refused test).
    Daniel  Membrillo,  20,  Bermuda Run – DUI  under 21(refused test).
    Johnathan H. Easley, 22,  Fairview Avenue,  Lawnside, NJ – DUI (refused test).
    Andrew Clay  Starcher,  19, Wild Sonnet Trail, Norcross – DUI under 21 ( .037).

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Officers issued four traffic citations Friday and one Sunday.
    Christopher Anthony Maloy, 21, Pamela  —  driving with a suspended license and failure to yield.
    Alexander Loren Loften, 19, Eagle Village— DUI and making an improper turn.
      
Statesboro Police Incidents
    MILL CREEK PARK – A man set his wallet, wrapped in a tee shirt, in a tree and later found someone had taken it.
    THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS – A woman said her two male roommates threatened her with harm.
    COLLEGE VUE APARTMENTS – Someone reported the theft of a DVD player and Nintendo 64.
    MIKELL STREET – A man and woman argued until the woman picked up a knife, and the man called police. No one was injured.
    AKINS STREET – A man said an unknown male removed an air conditioner unit and then stuck a gun  through the window, demanding cash. The victim yelled for a woman in the house to call police, and the would—be robber fled, he said.
    
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
    BELIEVERS CHURCH – (Statesboro) Someone threw rocks through windows and shattered and left beer bottles in the parking lot.
    HILL LANE – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a TV.
    LAKESIDE DRIVE – (Portal) A man told deputies a woman known only to him by her first name (Jessica) has been coming to his home and calling repeatedly after being told not to do so.
    BELL ROAD – (Brooklet) A woman said a man took a fertilizer spreader.
    STUBBS METAL – (Statesboro) an orange 90’s model Suzuki four—wheeler was reported stolen.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    FRIDAY – Officers issued four traffic warnings, assisted eight motorists, responded to three alarms and investigated one accident.
    SATURDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted two motorists, assisted one sick person, responded to one alarm and investigated two accidents.
    SUNDAY — Officers issued one traffic warning, and assisted four motorists.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued 32  warnings, assisted five motorists  and investigated 12 crashes with 16 injuries over the weekend.
