Statesboro Police Arrests
    Johnny Chavers, 50, Moore Chavers Road, Portal – failure to appear.
    Angel Gonzalez, 17, Pecan Grove, Portal – driving while unlicensed, child safety restraint violation, seat belt violation.
    Veronica Dashell Johnson, 40, Brinson Road, Brooklet – criminal trespass.
    Stephen Jared Byles, 33, N. Edgewood Drive – wanted person.
    Raymont Johnson, 24, East Main Street – disorderly conduct.
    Shakeva Monique Bland, 20, Church Street — theft by shoplifting, marijuana possession.
    Mitchell Marion Daughtry, 23, Lanier Drive – disorderly conduct.
    Michael Germaine Williams, 29, Meadow Glenn Drive, Fairburn – strong arm robbery.
    Jasmine Latrice Brown, 20, 3rd Avenue, Reidsville – driving with a suspended license.
Bulloch  Sheriff’s Arrests
    Arrests since Thursday will be published Wednesday.
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued  41  traffic citations between Friday and Sunday.

Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Officers issued  seven traffic citations Friday, eight  Saturday and 11 Sunday.
    Robert Coney Jr., 38, Bob's Drive, Millen —  driving with a suspended license.
    Ian Matthew Badger, 19, Campus Crossing — DUI.
    Fares Jose Lagos— Janania, 22, Stambuck Lane —  driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance and safety restraint violation.
    Tanner David Jackson, 20, Chandler Road — DUI and driving too fast for conditions.
Statesboro Police Incidents
    QUALITY INN – A man reported the theft of a green Army duffel bag and contents from his truck.
    CHURCH STREET – Police responded to a call about a man yelling and screaming at bushes and found an intoxicated man who was wanted for failure to appear in court.
    GROOVER LANE  — A man reported several items stolen after someone pried a door open to a rental apartment that was vacant.
    SALLIE ZETTEROWER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – A witness saw two juveniles retrieve a set of keys from a pile of straw, and reported their activity as suspicious. Police located the boys, checked them and found no keys, but later found keys and a bag belonging to the school.
    FACULTY BOULEVARD – A man reported finding his stolen solar lights and picnic table at his neighbor’s home.
    HUMMINGBIRD CIRCLE – A man and woman argued over a screen door not being shut properly and the man threatened the woman with bodily harm, she  told police.
    LANIER DRIVE – Police arrested a man victims said snatched a book bag from them.
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
    SOUTHBEND DRIVE – (Statesboro) A man found a broken window at a rental apartment.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL MOBILE HOME PARK – (Statesboro) A woman called deputies after arguing with a man.
    PAMELA WAY – (Statesboro) A ring and bank card were taken in a burglary.
    Moore circle – (Portal) A man broke a driver’s side mirror off a woman’s car.
    SIMONS ROAD – (Statesboro) A  woman reported a bulldog stolen.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    FRIDAY —Officers issued three traffic warnings, assisted five motorists and responded to two alarms.
    SATURDAY — Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted two motorists, responded to two alarms and responded to a drug complaint at Eagle Village.
    OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — A Social Security card and several check stubs were taken from a car.
    SWEETHEART CIRCLE — A Georgia Southern University banner was taken from a pole.
    SUNDAY — Officers issued four traffic warnings, assisted one motorist, assisted one injured person, responded to three alarms and responded to a drug complaint at Southern Pines.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued 12 warnings and investigated 13 crashes over the weekend, with nine injuries and two fatalities. No details were yet available Monday on the fatalities, a GSP spokesperson said. The fatal accident took place in Candler County.
    Troopers also assisted six motorists and conducted one road check over the weekend.
