March 16 - Statesboro Police Arrests Brandon O. Knighten, 18, Packinghouse Road – driving with a

Statesboro Police Arrests
    Brandon O. Knighten, 18, Packinghouse Road – driving with a suspended license, speeding.
    Cornelius C. Hannah, 20, Arbor Green Court, Lithonia – noise ordinance violation, wanted person.
    Desmond Dominic Redding, 27, U.S. 301 South – windshield violation, driving while unlicensed.
    
Bulloch  Sheriff’s Arrests
    Weekend arrests will be published Wednesday.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 20 traffic citations between Friday and Sunday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Officers issued three traffic citations Friday and two Saturday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents
    MIKELL STREET – A man said someone took three cell phone chargers, an adapter, and GPS unit from his vehicle.
    In a separate incident someone reported sewer drains being stopped up with cloths.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET – A woman said a man pushed her and broke a glass table.
    COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS – A man said someone stole $100 from his wallet and $150 from a desk drawer.
    BLUE RIDGE COURT – An iPod was reportedly stolen from a car.
    THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS – A woman said her ex—boyfriend punched, choked and pushed her.
    In a separate incident a resident reported the theft of a laptop computer, printer, DVD/VCR combo, TV, shoes, video games and movies.
    JOHNSON/WEST MAIN STREETS —  A man said four or five men jumped him, pointed a gun and struck him in the head, then stole three cell phones and $43.
    WEST JONES AVENUE – A man told police another man punched him in the eye.
    WILDWOOD CIRCLE – A woman said a man texted her, threatening to hurt her.
    JOHNSON STREET – A man told police another man punched him and caused a bloody lip.
    SUCCESS COURT – A woman complaining about her son breaking a door in her home was too intoxicated to write a statement, police said.
    UNIVERSITY PLAZA – Police arrested a man they saw striking another. The suspect fled, but was soon apprehended, and was charged with battery, underage possession of alcohol, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
    COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS – A man reported the theft of $30 and an MP3 player from his home.
    
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents
    TILLMAN POND ROAD – (Register) A man said someone crossed a live electric fence and tied a yellow rope to a mule plow they tried to steal.
    GA. 119 – (Ellabell) A man said he argued with his son over back rent.
    WIGFALL ROAD – (Register) A woman reported the theft of copper wire.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    FRIDAY — Officers assisted four motorists and investigated one accident.
    SATURDAY – Officers assisted three motorists.
    SUNDAY — Officers assisted one motorist and responded to one alarm.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER – Someone reported the theft of a gym bag.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued   53 warnings and investigated seven  crashes over the weekend.
