A Twin City man was killed Saturday night when a woman driving on the wrong side of the roadway in Hopulikeit struck him in a head-on collision, state troopers said.
Rocky Roy Lockhart, 22, Abb Johnson Road, Twin City, was driving west on U.S. 80 West near Williams Road in a 1998 Mercury Mystique.
He met a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Janelle G. Chester, 64, Valley Road, Statesboro, who was driving east in the westbound lane, according to information from preliminary reports by Georgia State Patrol Senior Trooper Brock Scott.
The vehicles collided head-on, reports stated.
The accident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. Saturday,  is still under investigation and reports are incomplete.
Lockhart was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports.
    Charges are pending, Scott said.
