Golf Range Magazine, the trade publication of the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) has announced its annual listing of the Top 100 Golf Ranges in America for 2006.
Hackers Golf Park – located in Statesboro – is one of 25 facilities named in the Southeast sector of the country and one of only two in the state of Georgia. This year’s selection marks the sixth consecutive year that Hackers was chosen among the Top 100 Golf Ranges in America.
The list of honorees was selected by Golf Range Magazine, the trade publication of the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA).  Golf Range Magazine, celebrating its 15th year of publishing, is distributed to 12,000 owners, operators, general managers and teaching pros of golf ranges (e.g., golf learning centers, academies, indoor and domes) as well as short courses  (Executives, 9-hole, and Par-3).
Hackers Golf Park, which opened in 1997, has been an annual selection in the Top 100 listing since 2001.
Co-owned by Darin Van Tassell and Larry Bryant, the 17-acre golf park Hackers Golf Park continues to make a strong impression within the southeast as well as across the nation.
"We are proud to announce this year's group of golf facilities that have distinguished themselves with a commitment to teaching and training, excellence in operations and solid community outreach programs," said Mark Silverman, editor of Golf Range Magazine.     “These first-class facilities and their owners and operators play an important role in grassroots golf development, customer service, and offering family recreational programs.  Hackers Golf Park remains one of our favorite annual selections to our magazine’s Top 100 list. Statesboro should be pleased to have a facility of this caliber, because Hackers and other facilities like it are at the core of growing the game of golf throughout the United States. These facilities are absolutely the future of this great game."
