"We are excited to welcome these technology leaders to our board," said CIT Dean James Bradford. "As one of the few dedicated Colleges of Information Technology in the country, we are committed to providing a premier educational experience for our students. These new board members will provide valuable real-world perspective and will guide and support us as we continue to develop new programs to meet the changing needs of the technology industry."
Established in 2003, Georgia Southern's CIT consists of three academic departments: Computer Sciences, Information Systems and Information Technology. The college is housed in a $33 million state-of-the-art facility featuring 25 interactive learning/study rooms, 10 computer labs and 14 electronic classrooms.
