Students carry 400-pound cross through Statesboro

A group of Georgia Southern University students affiliated with the Wesley Foundation were seen walking around Statesboro Friday carrying a 400-pound wooden cross. They did so to spread the message that "God has greater things to be done around this city," besides the political and other issues being discussed today. The group was also filming a video with the same message, to go along with the song "God of This City," by Chris Tomlin. The video will be shown at the Wesley Foundation on Fair Road Wednesday at 8 p.m., and all citizens are invited to attend.
