(Note: The following is the first in a weekly series of stories about some "Unsung Heroes" in the Bulloch County school system.) Ever since the new Portal Elementary school opened some 10 years ago the school has been kept virtually spotless. According to Principal Paul Hudson, much of that credit goes to his head custodian Shirley Jones.
