"I'd like to say to the person who said there aren't any more trees, I agree. What we need are more woods and less development. Pretty soon, no one can teach their children about outdoors while being outdoors."

"This is in reference to the person who complained about the vet who didn't care for Sonny, the dog with the chain in his neck. I am a humane society member. That vet's office did contact me and ask what protocol to take in order for us to take in the dog. I advised him to first take to the shelter in order for an official report to be documented. Then we would evaluate him and make our decision of taking him in. All of the vets in town do work with us on a regular basis and we apprec … appreciate all of their help. Thank you, a humane society member."

"This is for the good-lookin' blonde hair main that was in Wal-Mart on December 3rd. I was the lady in line at the express checkout gettin' a gift certificate. If you remember me, call Soundoff."

"I think Gov. Perdue should be ashamed to … talk about takin' away insurance, raisin' premiums of … state people and retirees who have worked all these years. I can assure this will not help his political career next time. That's awful. People can't afford insurance now. And they're tryin' to carry it. And he should be ashamed because we're all not millionaires."

"While watchin' the Georgia High School football playoffs, it became apparent to me that we need to get athletics out of high schools and just focus on academics. The coaches, while they were interviewed, display a lack of knowledge of a king's English and guess what? They're teachin' our kids. We're wasting teachin' positions on meat head coaches and makin' a place for 'em in our academic world. This is wrong."

"I would like to make a comment about the Bulloch County school buses in Stilson. There's too many kids on the school bus. Somethin' should be done about it. … That's too many kids. They're sittin' three and four to a seat and I believe somethin' should be done about it. Please put this in the paper. It would help out … hopefully, it'll help out. … But there's too many kids sittin' on the bus … on … and it's not safe."

"I was calling to see if the two persons that beat the preacher at his radio stations could be turned over to me. … I will supply my own hammer. I just need them for a few minutes, please, or maybe several hours."
